There is an island within us that very much needs our care. For this year's spring retreat, Come Home to Yourself, we will take time to fully experience our bodies, hearts and minds, and become aware of our breath, food, speech and actions. We will slow down and enter into a place of calm within ourselves, the environment, and each other. Through the practice of mindfulness we will learn how to nourish happiness, gratitude, good communication and serenity in our daily life.
The retreat will be led by teacher Kaira Jewel Lingo. Kaira Jewel brings 15 years of experience as a Buddhist nun living and working with Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, and her years of teaching mindfulness, with a warm and openhearted presence.
Activities include: yoga, sitting and walking meditation, mindful eating in silence, group discussions and deep relaxation. We will also learn InterPlay, a powerful mindfulness tool to grow ease.
Come join us for a restorative weekend. We'd love to have you.
