This class consists of guided meditation, a dharma talk, opportunities for practice, mindful movement, and discussion.
This series will introduce the practice of mindfulness meditation and give an overview of helpful means for working with thoughts, opening to difficult emotions, developing wisdom and deepening compassion.
No registration is necessary. Each class stands alone and attendance at one class does not require attendance at the others – however, the fullest integration will be achieved by attending each of the sessions.
Newcomers to meditation and long time practitioners are welcome to attend. Chairs are provided or you may bring your sitting gear.
Fee: This series is freely offered. There will be an opportunity to offer dana (donation) each week at class. Suggested donation $10-15.
This facility is fully handicap accessible.
Parking: There is no free parking during this class time, but participants can park at the Metro across the street or find street parking.
